A family business, built on the road between Potiskum and the rest of Nigeria — trading since 1990.
Bazuwa Motors traces its roots to one man: Alhaji Adamu Soja Bazuwa, a businessman originally from Bazuwa village who relocated to Potiskum in search of greater opportunity. He started out the way many great Northern Nigerian businesses do — farming and rearing animals — before venturing into truck transport and haulage in 1990.
That single move into trucking grew into Bazuwa Motors. Known for his honesty and generosity, Alhaji Adamu became a quiet kingmaker in Potiskum's transport business — mentoring and financing a generation of young people who, through him, found their own wealth and independence. Today, more than 100 individuals work under Bazuwa Motors, and the business he built by hand is now carried forward by his own family.
Alhaji Adamu Soja Bazuwa's children now run Bazuwa Motors day to day, each holding a clear role across the business.
Bazuwa Motors Ltd. is duly registered and licensed by all the necessary ministries and regulatory bodies at both Federal and Yobe State level.
